Wont stop taking me out of my messages and keeps giving me false alerts about my phone security being compromised

I have 1. Problem with text now when I call my peeps they cant hear me from the other end but I can kinda hear them the texting is grate but when I whont to call its not the best

Love this app for texting my friends and family whenever I dont want to use my cell service. I just connect to the wifi and this app does it all! Backgrounds for conversations are definitely one of the many great things from this app. No more boring white backgrounds like on the default iMessage app ;)

Holy moly, when I saw this app I thought it would be a scam but nope:) This is by far the best app for calling and texting, and its FREE!!!! I totally recommend it to everyone:0

My phone is currently being repaired, so I wont have it for at least a week. Its great to have an app where I can text whoever I want, as much as I want, FREE.

The first minor annoyance you may encounter is that the app will noisily alert you to log in and use it if you havent done so in about a week and 12 hours. I last used it a week ago at 2p, so this morning at 2a, I woke up to a nag notification ringing in my ear. However, the most egregious problem is lack of security. After deleting the app, it recycled the phone number it had assigned to my account. Somehow, whoever ended up with my number was able to pull my contact list. My roommate got a text from my old number - long story short, they tried to get $1000 from her by impersonating me and saying i needed money for medical tests. Add that to the basic functionality TextNow gets wrong - delays of up to 2 hours in receiving messages, messages arriving out of chronological order - and i would not recommend anyone to use this app.

It wont let me off this Walmart survey app. I click done and nothing happens. I might have to delete and re-download it again.. or maybe not again, Im getting a bit fed up with it.

My biggest problem with this app is Ill be in the middle of typing, and an ad will suddenly pop up. The last time it happened, I wasnt able to get it to go away. Also, its real slow when trying to text. If I had another option for phone service, Id get rid of this app.

Love how its free first off and its super easy to use and setup! High recommend!

I like the app, but sometimes when I send like a paragraph message it cuts it up and sends it out of order to the person. Same thing happens when I receive messages as well, sometimes they deliver out of order. For the most part I like the app, though the mute button sometimes doesnt work and I was overheard eating my pizza and chanting my pizza song? The ads sometimes lag the app, but other than that its a good app

It is okay but there are a lot of ads, you cant send a video, pictures that you receive take a while to load, and it takes along time to type because it glitches. I really wish it wold not glitch!!!

So Ive been with textnow for a while ... today is the second the app closed out and pop ups saying my phone has a virus???? Like really

Can answer calls on roaming, make calls and text when I am out of station. The plans definitely beat the overpriced telecoms.

I echo the Partridge family below! This one lovely little app. Little means NO fuss, aggravations and annoyances! Im so pleased Im almost inclined to delete all the others! Thanks guys from a bunch of us over here in Bermuda, where of course the Americas Cup sailing races are currently on. Youll see good coverage on TV of the Islands beautiful waters! I love it,use it when selling or buying stuff.However new thing i have noticed is the apple ads that come up and you cannot close them.I had to delete the app then reinstall it
